Terms & Conditions — Public Voting

Event: Carols n Carnival 2025
Categories: (1) Carol Singing Competition (2) Dance
Platform: Asianet News Events — https://asianetnews.events/cnc2025

1) Eligibility

  • Anyone in India with a valid mobile number can vote.

  • No purchase/fee required.

  • Organisers, crew, and jury may vote but those votes don’t carry extra weight.

2) Registration

  • Voters must complete a one-time quick registration (Name + Mobile + Terms consent).

  • A verification step may be used for fraud prevention. Providing correct details is mandatory.

3) When voting is open

  • Voting opens only while a program/team is live on stage and visible on the “Live” page.

  • Between programs/slots, voting is paused (the page will say “Stay tuned”).

  • Daily windows and slot timings are announced on the Live page and may change without prior notice.

4) How voting works

  • Tap a star rating (★1 to ★5). Higher stars mean higher preference.

  • Your rating counts toward that team’s Audience Score for the specific live slot.

  • You may rate multiple teams (each during its own live slot).

5) Limits & anti-abuse

  • One vote per program per participant is counted.

  • Technical throttles block repeated ratings from the same device/IP for a cooling period (up to 12 hours).

  • Automated/bulk voting, VPNs, emulators, or any attempt to bypass limits may lead to disqualification of the vote(s) and/or the team’s audience score at the organisers’ discretion.

6) Results & winners

  • Audience Scores determine Audience Choice results for each category.

  • The organisers may also run separate Jury Awards; jury outcomes are independent of public voting.

  • In the event of ties or irregularities, the organisers’ decision is final.

7) Data & privacy

  • By voting, you consent to the processing of your name and mobile number for validation, tallying, fraud prevention, winner communication, and event analytics.

  • Approximate technical metadata (e.g., device, browser, approximate region) may be logged to prevent abuse.

  • Data will not be sold; limited service partners may process data solely to run the event.

  • For data queries, contact the organisers at the email/number provided on the event site.

8) Rights & conduct

  • Organisers may remove suspicious votes, modify or cancel voting windows, or disqualify entries that violate rules or fair-play spirit.

  • Schedules, mechanics, and these T&Cs may be updated at any time; the Live page will reflect the current rules.

  • The organisers are not responsible for network failures, device issues, or platform outages.
