Title & Survey Specialist – Real Estate Paralegal
Seattle (2 days in office weekly)
Opportunity to Transition from Title Insurance into Real Estate Law
Our client is a mission-driven Seattle law firm focused on real estate and community development, partnering closely with nonprofits to support housing initiatives for underserved populations.
They’re seeking a Title & Survey Specialist Paralegal—someone with experience in title insurance or survey review who is eager to transition into real estate law and expand their expertise in a supportive, collaborative environment. Training will be provided to help you grow into the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze title commitments and surveys; identify and escalate issues promptly
Coordinate with title companies and lenders to ensure accuracy of title and survey documentation
Review and prepare closing documents, including escrow and recording instructions
Assist with due diligence related to title and survey materials throughout real estate transactions
Support real estate closings by organizing documents and facilitating communication among stakeholders
Draft property-related legal documents as needed
Ideal Candidate:
Background in title insurance or surveying with strong familiarity of title commitments and surveys
Eager to learn and transition into a real estate legal environment
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple deadlines
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient with Microsoft Office and legal software applications
Qualifications:
~2+ years experience in title insurance, surveying, or related real estate fields preferred
~ Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required if you have strong relevant experience
