This position is located in the city of Westchester .

Under the supervision pf the Team Manager, the Support Services Assistant - Interpreter (SSA-I) provides a wide range of interpreting services, as a member of a pool of interpreters, to deaf or hard of hearing staff members and Rehabilitation Counselors for the Deaf (RCDs).

Telework:
Under Government Code 14200, t his position is a hybrid, in-office/telework position, and may be subject to change. Incumbent must live and work in California. Incumbent can be required to report to the office, or any designated location at any time. Telework agreements can be modified and/or cancelled at any time.

Special Requirements

• The position(s) require(s) fluency in the American Sign Language language. If the State of California does not have a current record documenting your fluency in this language, you will be required to successfully pass an approved language fluency test prior to being hired.
