Are you ready to get in on the ground floor of Project Kuiper, Amazon’s long-term initiative to design, launch and maintain a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world?
It’s Day 1 for Amazon’s next billion dollar business and we are looking for an entrepreneurial minded Senior SAP FICO Product Manager to work in a start-up environment who is passionate about technology and information systems, who thinks and acts globally, and has the ability to create and implement solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess both the technical background that enables them to work with technology and a demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically about Project Kuiper initiatives (satellite manufacturing and Government Contracting). They will experience a wide range of problem solving situations requiring an understanding of technical infrastructure and stakeholder expectations.
Key job responsibilities
- Own SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) product roadmap and drive the implementation for finance initiatives including integration with Amazon Corporate systems.
- Define and prioritize SAP FICO product features and requirements to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Drive product discussion vision, goals, tenets, and monthly business reviews with leadership and skateholders.
- Develop use cases by gathering operating requirements, work with software development to build required features, clearly communicate dependencies and manage/track exceptions.
- Participate and build Proof of Concepts (POCs) to ensure proposed solution can meet business requirements using SAP S/4.
- Active participation in Unit Test, System Integration Test, User Acceptance Test, and User Training.
- Apply strong knowledge of the business processes for designing, developing, and testing SAP S/4 HANA ERP functionality, which includes expertise in general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset management, project system, cost center accounting, & product cost controlling.
- Design features utilizing SAP S/4 HANA FICO module to meet business requirements, including connection points with SD, PP, MM, PS, and other modules and implementation of SAP best practices.
- Have an ability to navigate through a large amount of ambiguity and drive consensus between cross-functional stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrate crisp communication skills, have experience communicating project status to a broad audience and be willing to follow appropriate escalation channels to ensure delivery as planned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years experience working as a functional lead or product manager with expertise in configuring SAP FICO module to meet business requirements, including connection points with SD, PP, MM, PS, and other modules.
