Description:
We are looking for a Transportation Management IT Consultant / SAP TM Consultant. The consultant is expected to have strong Transportation Management industry knowledge and system (integration) expertise. The expectation is that the project should be completed within a 6-month time span.
The role will focus on:
Auditing our end to end process and system capabilities. Including our different system integrations between:
SAP TM (our TMS with integrations to SAP ECC, EWM, GTS, local DC WMS)
M3 - MixMove (Operational Scanning software used for consolidation + carrier bookings)
VIYA (Carrier integration: Booking + tracking event integrations)
SNC (supplier booking)
Spectrum (form and label creation)
Invoicing audits and cost allocation tools
Driving the development of change requests to stabilize and improve the existing systems and interfaces
Reducing manual workarounds, and ensuring sustainable, error-proof processes going forward.
Identify short term wins and long term overhauls to improve the end to end flow
Outline path towards future TMS (SAP S4 Hana)
Reviewing how the processes and tools fit with our network hub and spoke consolidation design
Our current design lacks the necessary guardrails. This leads to operational issues such as unavailable EDI to be able to unload trucks, missing shipments, confused system operators
Qualifications:
Proven experience in SAP TM-Transportation Planning
Expertise in SAP TM-Subcontracting & Tendering
Proficiency in SAP TM-Analytics
Strong understanding of SAP TM-Integration
Experience working in a hybrid model
Excellent communication and analytical skills
