Job Description

Salary: $44,200 - 79,900 per year Requirements:

  • We require that candidates possess a TS/SCI with Poly Clearance. A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience in project coordination, project controls, or project planning. Candidates should have a strong understanding of project planning principles, budgeting, and scheduling techniques. Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, Smartsheet, or similar tools is essential. We expect you to monitor and report on project performance metrics like costs, schedules, and deliverables. A solid grasp of project documentation processes and standards is important, along with strong communication skills to relay complex information to diverse stakeholders. Analytical problem-solving skills are required to address ambiguous issues, leveraging prior experience and data. You should have the ability to support and train junior staff as well as collaborate across functional teams.
Responsibilities:
  • In this position, I will need you to maintain SAP Project System (PS) structures, which include WBS elements, networks, and cost objects. You will collaborate with project and finance leads to assist in the creation, modification, and closure of SAP project codes. Monitoring project financials in SAP, including budgets, actuals, commitments, and forecasts, is a critical part of the role. You will also be responsible for generating and distributing standardized and ad hoc financial and status reports for our internal stakeholders and leadership. Additionally, you will assist with data entry, validation, and reconciliation processes to facilitate month-end closes, audits, and project reviews. Acting as a liaison between project managers and SAP technical or finance teams to resolve data discrepancies or system issues will be part of your duties. Furthermore, you will support training and documentation initiatives related to SAP project system processes and best practices, ensuring compliance with company policies, internal controls, and data governance standards.
