Role: QA Specialist

Location: Remote

Duration: 3 months

About the Role:

• They have been working with a provide on an implementation of SFMC/Data cloud and it is not going well. They brought in an architect to re-do most of what the partner has done, and move the project forward so they need hands-on folks to assist
• Needs to know/have experience QAing for Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud
• Assist with documentation
• No specific testing tools in their environment so more of a manual QA someone who can check the work, write test cases for end users, etc.
• Validate how things have been set up
• Familiarity with salesforce products and marketing/data cloud
• They are in the beginning stages of the implementation, so they are not yet well-established in marketing or data cloud. Looking for people who are motivated, self-starters who have the ability to think outside of the box and figure things out

What You Will Bring:

Delivery

• Conduct testing of various Salesforce Marketing Cloud components, including dynamic content, email templates, automation workflows, landing pages, and data integrations.
• Conduct testing of various Salesforce Data Cloud components, including identity resolution, segments, activations, and unified individual reconciliation.
• Identify, document, and track defects or issues found during testing; work with developers to resolve them.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud platforms, including data integration and management.
• Create and maintain documentation related to testing processes, test cases, and defect resolutions.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project specifications and requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Partner with architects, designers, and marketers to ensure quality of marketing campaigns and data processes.

Development

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including various studios and builders.
• Familiarity with different testing approaches, such as functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Understanding of data management principles and practices within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.
• Ability to analyze complex data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud Certification(s) preferred.
• Experience working in Agile environments and using tools like Jira.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
