About the Role We are seeking an experienced Contract Project Manager to lead a nationwide, multi-site lighting replacement program across retail locations. This role provides full lifecycle project management, ensuring successful execution of lighting end-of-life replacements. You will serve as the primary point of accountability, overseeing schedules, budgets, quality, and risk while coordinating third-party vendors and internal stakeholders.
Job Description The Project Manager will manage multiple concurrent projects, delivering structured oversight and executive-level reporting. Responsibilities include initiating, planning, executing, and closing projects based on PMBOK principles. You will develop communication plans, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies, track KPIs, and ensure adherence to quality and cost standards. Additional duties include coordinating site activities, managing change orders, resolving vendor issues, supporting bidding processes, and overseeing financial reporting. The role also involves project closeout activities such as punch list management, documentation, and lessons learned reviews.
Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of project management experience
- Proven ability to manage multi-site or program-level projects
- Formal PMBOK-based project management experience
- Experience with lighting retrofit projects
- Strong skills in scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management
- Experience managing third-party vendors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- SAP experience
- Familiarity with Smartsheet
- Experience working in supply chain environments
Preferred: - Background in retail or large-scale facility projects
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience with RFP processes and contractor negotiations
