Rate: $30.00 $38.82/hour + Full Benefits
Shift: 6:00 AM 6:30 PM | Day Shift | 12-hour shifts
Weekend Requirement: Rotation Required
On-Call Requirement: Rotation Required
Sign-On Bonus: $6,000
We are seeking a dedicated Stepdown Registered Nurse with a strong cardiac care focus to join our high-acuity transitional care team. This role involves managing a range of complex medical conditions for patients who require close monitoring but do not need full ICU care. The ideal candidate will be patient-focused, highly organized, and able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide care for patients with cardiac and other critical conditions, including:
Chest pain rule-outs (CP)
STEMI/NSTEMI
Post-CABG, post-thoracotomy, and post-vascular surgeries
Respiratory failure requiring BIPAP or Airvo
Hemodynamic instability requiring IV medications (non-titrated)
CHF, sepsis, and dysrhythmias
Manage post-Cardiac Cath Lab patients, including arterial sheath monitoring.
Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and patient assessments.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Maintain accurate patient records and provide education to patients and families.
Demonstrate leadership by working collaboratively with support staff and ancillary services.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oklahoma Required
At least 6 months of RN experience Required
NIH Stroke Certification Required (or must obtain upon hire)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
