Role Description:
LST Group is currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our Dry Van and Reefer Division. This is a full-time, hybrid role in our Tampa Branch.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Data entry into TMS system properly transcribing load details – commodity, temperature, load details, special requirements
  • Appointment scheduling responsibilities via online planforms, email, and phone communications with shipping & receiving facilities
  • Update customer TMS systems
  • Plan and track shipments, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgetary constraints.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and warehouses to manage the flow of materials and products.
  • Respond to customer requests as needed
  • Prepare BOL’s as needed.
  • Daily track/trace responsibilities of assigned loads via GPS, phone & email
  • Communicate regularly with internal teams (sales, account management, carrier sales) to address logistical issues or concerns.
  • Resolve any issues that arise during the shipping or delivery process, including delays, OS&D’s.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a logistics coordinator or in a related role.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management and transportation procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
