Inbound/Outbound Logistics:
Coordinate and manage inbound shipments; assist in proper tariff classification.
Arrange for outgoing shipments in compliance with company procedures and regulations.
Maintain and monitor all phases of transportation and distribution.
Shipping & Freight Management:
Support rate negotiation with Truck, Air Freight, and UPS carriers.
Audit and process all freight bills for manufacturing and retail divisions.
Maintain accurate records of freight payments and reconciliations.
Operations & Warehouse Coordination:
Assist Logistics Manager in daily warehouse operations and logistics planning.
Ensure accurate shipping, receiving, routing, chargebacks, tracing, and claims processing.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to maintain proper handling of raw materials.
Tracking & Communication:
Communicate daily with carriers to expedite and track domestic and import trailers.
Provide specialized logistics reports to upper management as required
Ensure timely delivery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during transit.
Process Optimization:
Monitor and optimize logistics operations to reduce costs and improve delivery efficiency.
