Lead Screen Printer - IGG Screen Printing

Production Requirements:

• Minimum capacity: 720 shirts per hour
• Daily production target: 2,500-3,000 imprints
• Maintain consistent quality standards while meeting aggressive production goals

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Setup and Operation:

• Set up and operate tri-loc registration systems for precise multi-color alignment
• Oversee the setup and maintenance of M & R Gauntlet 3 10/12 press and equipment
• Ensure optimal performance for high-volume production runs

Color Management:

• Manage advanced ink mixing and Pantone color matching to meet exact customer specifications
• Perform color corrections and adjustments during production runs
• Maintain color consistency across large production batches

Quality Control:

• Conduct quality checks on printed items to ensure consistency and adherence to design specifications
• Monitor print quality during high-speed production runs
• Implement quality control measures for large-volume orders

Production Management:

• Lead and coordinate print runs to achieve daily production targets of 2,500-3,000 imprints
• Supervise material preparation, loading, and unloading for a continuous workflow
• Optimize production efficiency while maintaining quality standards

Shop Management:

• Experience with Printavo shop management software preferred
• Maintain accurate production records and job tracking
• Coordinate with team members to ensure seamless workflow

Maintenance and Organization:

• Ensure proper cleaning of ink and materials from screens, squeegees, and machinery
• Maintain an organized work environment for efficient high-volume production
• Perform routine equipment maintenance

Team Leadership:

• Lead and provide hands-on assistance during complex print runs.
• Train team members on advanced techniques and quality standards
• Communicate production status and any issues promptly to management.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in high-volume screen printing
• Proven ability to consistently produce 720+ shirts per hour
• Experience with tri-loc registration systems
• Knowledge of SIM process and color separations
• Strong understanding of Pantone color matching and color corrections
• Experience with Printavo or similar shop management software (preferred)
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to maintain quality at high speeds
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Training and Development:

On-the-job training will be provided to familiarize you with our specific equipment, processes, and quality standards.
