Job Summary Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization’s laboratory. Ensure that all testing and analysis is performed according to established protocols and procedures.
Essential Responsibilities And Duties - Directs and oversees all aspects of the laboratory, including personnel, operations, budgeting, and compliance with regulatory provisions.
- Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure quality control and safety in the laboratory.
- Supervises staff and provides guidance and training on laboratory techniques and procedures.
- Ensures that all testing and analysis is performed according to established protocols and procedures.
- Ensures that lab equipment is properly calibrated and maintained to ensure accurate results.
- Hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates personnel. Champions and enforces the strictest adherence to best practices, FDA Code of Federal Regulations, ICH (International Conference on Harmonization), GCP (Good Clinical Practices), CenExel standard operating procedures, site Working Practices, protocol, and company guidelines and policies. Retrains and implements corrective and preventative actions, as needed.

Education/Experience/Skills - Bachelor's degree in medical technology or a related field.
- Five years of laboratory management experience preferred.
- Able to review test results to ensure that processes are being followed correctly and results are accurate.
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Working Conditions - Indoor, Office environment.
- Essential physical requirements include sitting, typing, standing, and walking.
- Lightly active position, occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
- Reporting to work, as scheduled, is essential.
- This is an on-site work arrangement.
