Full Time

In the role of Facilities Technician, you will provide technical and maintenance support to the Facilities Department and the Manufacturing Department. You will strive for the continuous improvement of all Enercon facilities with a goal of maintaining the quality, reliability and appearance of the facility and its systems. You will routinely coordinate with Facilities Specialist and Manager for the purchase and implementation of contracted services. You will ensure the proper Preventative Maintenance of the facility Systems.

Functions & Responsibilities

• You will quickly and accurately troubleshoot problems relating to HVAC, mechanical, and other facilities systems and affect needed repairs.
• You will be responsible for performing Preventative Maintenance and repair activities of facility equipment, building, and controls,
• You will coordinate with the Facilities Manager to implement new equipment, including identification, purchasing, validation, implementation, and training as part of total solution.
• You will use and adjust building automation systems (BA) to monitor, debug, and improve the facilities.
• You will, in conjunction with the Facilities Manager, oversee contractor work at various Enercon Facilities.
• You will actively look for and improve Safety and Ergonomics in the workplace.
• You will have a willingness to work after hours and as emergencies required.
• You will perform other duties as required.

Job Requirements

• You must have an excellent understanding of facility maintenance, with a strong understanding of HVAC Systems and controls.
• You must have strong general software abilities: MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency required.
• You must have strong Facilities software abilities to include Building Automation system (BAS) GUI interface, Enercon Utilities Maintenance system, HVAC Controls (Honeywell, Trane, Samsung, etc.)
• You must have the ability to read and interpret building drawings, manuals and technical documents.
• You must have the ability to work self-directed.
• You must be a team player.

• You must have a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
• You must demonstrate a commitment to continuously improve the Enercon facilities and oneself.

Educational Requirements

• 2-year college degree vocational degree in industrial HVAC systems , or equivalent technical experience
• 3-5 years of experience in Facilities HVAC system Maintenance is highly desirable.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Work Experience in basic carpentry, painting and mechanical repairs.
