Join us! System One is assisting a client looking for the best Electronic Technicians—those who are not afraid to roll up their sleeves to grow with their organization, personally and professionally!

In an exciting and challenging fast-paced environment, their Electronics Technicians install electronics/electrical systems and ensures proper maintenance and repair of electronic/electrical equipment and instrumentation.

What You’ll Do :

  • Installs electronic/electrical systems.
  • Ensures proper maintenance and repair of electronic/electrical equipment and instrumentation.
  • Calibrates all electronic/electrical equipment.
  • Knowledge of functionality and troubleshooting of Load Cells
  • Understand PLC controls and programing
  • Utilize the CMMS System to develop PM schedules and Job Plans
  • Ability to read and understand electronic schematics
  • Abides by all policies and procedures established by the Company including plant safety regulations and work rules.
  • Must have ability and desire to work with others.
  • Meets attendance requirements.
  • Performs other duties as deemed necessary.

What You’ll Need :

  • Commitment to safety
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent G.E.D. required.  
  • Post-secondary education degree in electronics, or equivalent, preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in repair and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems is preferred..
  • Previous maintenance experience in a steelmaking environment preferred.
  • Ability to pass written electronics exam.
  • Strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn

Will be required to submit to a criminal background investigation. Urine and hair follicle drug screening will be required upon offer of employment. Applicants must be able to provide a High School Diploma/GED and post secondary education certificate upon hire.
