Job Description

Our client, a global law firm known for its innovation and client-centric approach, is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Analysis & Technology Senior Staff Lawyer to join their dynamic team. This position offers the flexibility of working in the Chicago office 2-3 times a week. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in litigation and eDiscovery, with expertise in RelativityOne. Responsibilities include advising on all phases of the EDRM process, managing technology-assisted review workflows, and providing strategic guidance to clients. Strong communication skills, legal research abilities, and active bar membership in Illinois is required. This role provides the opportunity for professional growth and mentorship within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic guidance on all phases of the EDRM including data preservation, collection, review, and production
Draft and negotiate ESI protocols and search terms with internal and external parties
Manage workflows involving technology-assisted review (TAR) and other advanced analytics
Advise clients and litigation teams on discovery strategies, best practices, and cost-effective solutions
Utilize RelativityOne for data review, analysis, and project oversight
Conduct legal research and analysis related to discovery and case strategy
Draft persuasive memoranda, motions, and other legal documents
Collaborate with colleagues and clients across offices and practice areas

Qualifications

JD with active membership in the Illinois
Several years of litigation and eDiscovery experience, preferably in a law firm or similar professional setting
Practical and detailed knowledge of the EDRM lifecycle
Proficiency with RelativityOne and related eDiscovery technologies
Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Strong academic credentials and a commitment to high-quality client service

Expected salary for this role is $130,000 - $200,000, commensurate with experience, training, skills, qualifications, and other market factors.
