**Summary**
As a Content Writer, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality content for our daily and weekly newsletters, as well as long-form articles and blog posts for our websites. You'll work closely with editors, researchers, and strategists to deliver content that is timely, engaging, well-researched, and aligned with our brand voice.
**What You’ll Be Doing**
* Write concise, engaging copy for daily and weekly newsletters, ensuring readability and strong open/click performance.
* Produce well-structured, long-form blog posts and articles for web publication, optimized for SEO.
* Conduct background research on topics ranging from news and business to history or cultural trends (depending on focus area), ensuring accuracy and credibility.
* Collaborate with editors to refine tone, structure, and editorial consistency across all content types.
* Draft compelling subject lines, headlines, and meta descriptions that drive engagement.
* Track deadlines and deliver content on a regular, consistent schedule.
* Adapt content across multiple platforms (email, blog, landing pages, etc.) as needed.
* Help evolve content strategy by suggesting angles and timely topics.
**Qualifications and Experience**
* 1–3 years of experience writing newsletters, blogs, or editorial content for digital audiences.
* Must have: A portfolio showcasing previous newsletters, articles, or other relevant writing work.
* Proven experience in professional content creation, ideally in business, media, or journalism.
* Strong command of language, structure, and tone with excellent grammar and attention to detail.
* Ability to write in multiple styles depending on the newsletter’s tone and focus.
* English proficiency of at least B2 on the CEFR scale; C1 or higher preferred.
* Strong research skills, with the ability to gather and verify information from credible sources.
* Skilled at simplifying complex topics into clear, audience-friendly content.
* Familiarity with SEO principles, formatting for web readability, and CMS tools (e.g., WordPress, Ghost, Substack).
* Comfortable juggling multiple deadlines and content types in a fast-paced environment.
* Understanding of newsletter analytics (open rates, CTRs) and content performance metrics.
