HANDS Inc. is a non-profit corporation providing a safe and fun environment before and after school in 14 elementary schools in Great Falls, MT

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and ensuring their safety and well-being. This position offers an opportunity to be a positive role model for our children.

Duties:

- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities

- Supervise and monitor children's activities

- Maintain a clean and organized childcare setting

- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members

- Implement behavior management techniques when necessary

Requirements:

- Previous experience working with children is preferred

- Head Teachers must be 18 years of age with a minimum of 32 completed approved training hours.

- Assistants must be 16 years of age and complete trainings within 90 days

- Certification in Pediatric First Aid and CPR is a plus

- Experience with school aged children a plus

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to manage children's behavior effectively

- Ability to complete required state mandated trainings

Nice-to-have Skills:

- Classroom experience

- Caregiving background

- Special education knowledge

- Familiarity with behavior management techniques

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.84 - $15.01 per hour

Expected hours: 27 per week
