We are looking for someone who will be joining our Metrology team as the Calibration Laboratory Supervisor for our Canal Street Nashua facility. You will be a member of the ES Metrology Leadership Team and you will be involved hands on in the calibration of the diverse family of measuring and test equipment used in our labs and factories there. You will be there to promote and provide customer satisfaction to our test equipment users, interfacing with the community to supply technical support and guidance.
As a Calibration Laboratory Supervisor you will make impacts in the following ways;
+ Perform calibrations on a variety of test & measurement equipment.
+ Supervising, coordinating and scheduling to ensure full utilization of technician capabilities.
+ Prioritizing to accommodate turn-around times.
+ Monitor and manage the production and performance of the lab personnel.
+ Review and create laboratory metrics to assure data driven decisions.
+ Resolve metrology related problems with technical team members.
+ Perform evaluations for direct report employees and provide feedback on employees that work in the lab for other managers.
+ Assist in establishment and coordination of internal trainer/trainee programs.
+ Assist with periodic audits and reviews.
+ Assist with the identification of and response to corrective actions.
+ Actively participate in and facilitate laboratory meetings to promote effective interpersonal communications and process improvement.
+ Confer with appropriate personnel in decision-making process.
+ Respond to customer inquiries where required.
+ Utilize working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 requirements.
+ Perform other duties as required.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ High school diploma or GED
+ 5 years of experience with a test and measurement organization in a calibration position
+ 2 years of experience in a leadership position for a calibration laboratory
+ Must have relevant IT and technical abilities
+ Ability to communicate clearly in writing and speaking
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ PMEL training or equivalent, ASQ CCT
+ AS degree in engineering / technical field
+ 3 years experience as a calibration laboratory leader
+ Experience using calibration software such as: LabView, SURE/CAL, Met/Cal , Met/Team, TME etc.
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $77809 - $132275
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
